practice embedding Educreations video made on iPad

Made this using Educrations on the iPad.  One of the share options in the app is to copy the embed code...that's what I did and then I pasted that code here (be sure to click HTML tab at the top first).  Now I switched back to the "Compose" mode (clicked Compose tab at the top)to type more explanation. It worked!

My Book

I like my book.  It is called The Mud Pony.  I really liked it.  I liked it because I like horses and I like mud.  I think you should read The Mud Pony.  I think you will like it.

My Goal

My goal is to write a blog post once each week.  I joined a Blogging Challenge on Twitter this week.  Teachers from all over are going to write a blog post each week.  Then we will read someone else's blog and write a comment to them.  I am excited and a little scared by this challenge.  What if I can't keep up with the other teachers?  What if no one reads my blog posts?  What if I write something lame and the WHOLE world sees it?  Know what I say to that?  "So what!" Let's try this blogging challenge together! Ok?

Personal Narrative

Think about a time when you were scared...or hurt.

     Where were you?
           Who were you with?
                 What happened?
                         Who "saved" you?
                                    What happened at the end?

Now...read what you wrote yesterday.  If you think it is SUPER SPIFFY...you can start typing it on your blog.
REMEMBER to read it two times before you click PUBLISH

IF YOU FINISH before Lunch...read your new Library books.

Practice Blog Post

Let's see how difficult it is to insert something from my Google Drive...

You can add  a link to your Google stuff - Google Doc showing correct hand placement (Google Drive stuff needs to be added as a link-the share settings must be changed to "Anyone with a Link Can View")

Pictures need to be uploaded from the computer or inserted using a URL.  There is no SEARCH function when inserting an image.  You have to upload or already have searched for the image on Google and copied the URL for that image.

Google Drawings can be inserted (see Cal. Regions pic) by first going to FILE and clicking "Publish To the Web"...then copying the EMBED code.  Before inserting the embed code, first click "HTML" at the top left of your post page, then insert the code.  Click preview to see what it looks like.

A Google Presentation can be added the same way as a Google Drawing.
